To get started, just follow these 4 easy steps:
Step 1: Find your ‘type’ by going to either the “Local” or “Thing” tabs in the top navigation
Step 2: Fill out your information In The Form & Hit “Generate”.
Step 3: Use the rich snippet tester to double check that Search Engines can correctly parse your structured data mark up.
Step 4: Copy and paste schema onto site.

I known little code HTML so this tools useful for my website. Thanks.
Hi Deepak!
Thanks for the reply, I’m glad you find it useful!
Very helpful and time saving tool. Saved a lot of frustating minutes to write the mark-up manually.
Thanks for sharing!
Hi Gustavo,
Hope all is well! Thanks for the feedback – which generator is giving you errors?
Excellent tool. But getting Haton errors
Thanks!
Very great tools.. thanks very much for sharing this tools
Very Nice……. for sharing this information.
Great tool….Thanks for sharing this information.
Hi Gayle,
Not an ignorant question at all. You basically place the code wherever you’d like to have the text show up on the page. For example, if you did the Local Business Generator, you could place the code in the footer of your site. To users, they would see the name, address, and phone number in the footer, to a Search Engine, they see that + the schema.org markup.
Hopefully that makes sense. If not, feel free to post the question in the community forum: perhaps others can explain it more clearly
I’m sorry for a ignorant question here, but could you please tell me where about on your site you would place this code?
Hi Don,
I didn’t see one for personal trainers – did you stumble across it in schema.org? The closest one I could find is Exercise Plan
Hey Matthew,
That’s a great suggestion! There’s a whole section on Creative Services (http://schema.org/CreativeWork). Let me know which one would most pertain to you…or if that’s what you were thinking: http://schema.org/CreativeWork
Hi prib,
Sorry for the confusion. When I mention “type”, I’m referring to the generators in either the “Local” or “E-commerce” tabs, which are in the top navigation
Where is “type” ? select it from where??
Hi Andy,
Please try again, it should be working correctly now. Thanks for your feedback!
I’d love love love a shema generator for a creative services studios with about 4 subheads. Would any existing one work??

thank you , nice for sharing ..
Hi Chris,
My apologies, it looks like this was a site wide issue (for some reason it was following relative pathing all of a sudden). Should be running good now. Thanks for the heads up!

September 1 2012: Getting a 404 error message on the tool for Local Business Schema. Tried twice with same result. Whats up?
Hi Martin,
Yup, whatever piece of information you would like to have marked up, then it would need to apply the schema.org vocab. In some instances, if your name address and phone number is displayed in the header, then you could apply it once and it would be marked up on all pages.
Hi Rishi,
Check out (http://schema.org/MediaObject) & (http://schema.org/VideoObject). It would like something like:
<div itemprop=”video” itemscope itemtype=”http://schema.org/VideoObject”>
<h2>Video: <span itemprop=”name”>Interview with the Foo Fighters</span></h2>
<meta itemprop=”duration” content=”T1M33S” />
<meta itemprop=”thumbnail” content=”foo-fighters-interview-thumb.jpg” />
<object …>
<param …>
<embed type=”application/x-shockwave-flash” …>
</object>
<span itemprop=”description”>Catch this exclusive interview with
Dave Grohl and the Food Fighters about their new album, Rope.</span>
</div>
Hi Chris,
What service do you sell? Do you have any reviews on your service?
Hi kadek,
You can paste the code wherever you would like to show up the information. For example, if on the contact us page you were to list the address and phone number in the main body, you would put the code there. You can style the information however you’d like, but you’d just want to make sure you’re still wrapping the information using schema.org vocab.
where I must paste code of microdata code?
I do not sell a product but rather a service. What would be the best schema to use
I am owning video website. how to create microdata for video based site?
Where on the page would you paste the output – and just on the index page or on every page??
get Hey can you add an Event Schema Please?
would be really useful.
Thanks so much.
Hi there, love this tool! It is just what I was looking for, however, it would be awesome if you had a schema for Video, Electricians, and Contractors ,)
Aside from that, was helpful, and I plan to come back here!

Thanks for the comment – my pleasure!
My brother suggested I might like this web site. He used to be entirely right. This publish actually made my day. You can not consider simply how a lot time I had spent for this info! Thanks!
a useful tool. Would not hurt to have a generator to store natural stone and stone products.
And yet, surely it is useful to the generator for tourism companies.
